Mediso, a leading manufacturer of molecular imaging techniques for health care and medical research, opened a new medical imaging platform towards MAXimized performance clinical theranostic imaging by introducing a new true theranostic SPECT/CT: the AnyScan® TRIO SPECT/CT TheraMAX*.

The launch event, held on October 20, 2024 at the 37^th Annual meeting of European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) in Hamburg, was admittedly a great success with over two hundred attendees at the Mediso booth.

Aron K. Krizsan, Ph.D., Clinical Product and Marketing Manager at Mediso highlighted in his talk that the TheraMAX system streamlines Ultra-fast Quantitative ¹⁷⁷Lu SPECT scans within 10 minutes, as well as extreme sensitivity for the challanging imaging conditions of targeted alpha therapy with ²²⁵Ac and ²¹²Pb. The TheraMAX also features five imaging modes including organ focus modes for brain and cardiac with dedicated multi-pinhole collimators as well as true planar scans. Furthermore, specifically designed for bone scans, the innovative AI-powered synthetic CT (SyCT) ensures precise attenuation correction and quantitative SPECT results without any additional dose to the patient.
